Today's Tip: Multiply Your Referrals
About Referrals:
There's nothing better than a referral - a "free" customer
who already trusts you, is ready to transact business with you and will
refer others.
Many business owners depend on referrals to sustain their business,
but do nothing to encourage or reward them. You'd be surprised how many
referrals you are not getting - if you don't know how to acknowledge
referrals and don't know how to reward them. (To see detailed information

Helpful Hint: Always acknowledge referrals with heartfelt thanks. And,
reward referrals with a thoughtful gift. If you had to do one or the
other, the acknowledgement is more important than the reward. A simple
card with a message of thanks will let the referrer know that you appreciate
it. They will appreciate that you took the time to thank them. (How
many hand-written cards did YOU get last week?) And they will continue
to refer!
