Last time we talked about print and Yellow Pages ads.
I made the point that to run a "Who We Are, What We
Do, How To Reach Us" is a prescription for low or no
response
So what is the answer? What do you have to do to draw
the highest response?
The most important thing by far, is to have a
Compelling headline. Nobody will respond to your ad if
they haven't read it. And, nobody will read it unless
you get their attention. That's why the headline is
the most important part of any ad you will ever run.
The second most important component of a winning print
ad is a reason to call you. It could be in the form of
an amazing discount or it could be a free information
booklet. Either way, if you capture people's attention
and give them a good reason to contact you, you
will see an immediate and significant jump in your
response.
